No refunds. Cold-chain research chemicals cannot be returned to inventory once dispatched. Replacement at our cost in three narrow documented-failure cases.

Lumera Labs does not offer refunds. Research peptides and reagents are temperature-sensitive, lot-traceable laboratory chemicals. Once a cold-chain shipment leaves our facility, the chain-of-custody is broken and the material can no longer be resold or returned to inventory. By placing an order you accept that all sales are final.

When we'll make it right

We replace material at our cost — not refund — in a narrow set of documented failures:

  1. Damage in transit — broken glass, torn packaging, or visible compromise on receipt. Photo evidence required within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Lot purity below the published COA — confirmed by independent third-party HPLC retest at a recognized laboratory.
  3. Cold-chain failure — documented by the temperature logger included with shipment, showing excursion above the validated threshold during transit.

In any of these three cases we ship a replacement within 5 business days at no additional cost. Replacement, not refund, is the sole remedy.

What is never returnable

  • Opened, partially used, or reconstituted vials.
  • Lots in compliance with their published COA.
  • Bulk orders past 14 days.
  • Products purchased on clearance or via promotional codes.
  • Change-of-mind purchases.

Chain-of-custody for research chemicals cannot be re-established once a shipment leaves our facility. Health Canada and FDA controlled-substance and chemical-safety guidance prohibits resale of research material that has left a controlled cold chain.

Reporting a damage / purity / cold-chain claim

  1. Email lumeralabs@proton.me within 7 days of delivery with: order number, batch/lot number, photos, and (where applicable) the temperature logger report.
  2. We respond within 2 business days with next steps.
  3. Approved replacements ship within 5 business days at no additional cost.

Order cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch by emailing lumeralabs@proton.me. Once a cold-chain shipment leaves our facility, cancellation is no longer possible. Crypto payments that have already settled on-chain cannot be reversed; in the rare case of a pre-dispatch cancellation we issue store credit.

Acknowledgement

By placing an order you confirm you have read product specifications, the Certificate of Analysis, and the Research Use Declaration, and you accept that all sales are final and no monetary refunds are offered.
